An art historian, Marianne has always evolved in the artistic world. After working in galleries and museums, she is now raising her four children. For the past few years, she has been immersing herself in painting in a completely self-taught, intuitive and undoubtedly therapeutic way. Marianne explores colours and plays with textures, impasto and thicknesses. Her emotions are expressed through abstract, colourful and joyful painting. With her So Round series, the moon comes out of the frame to become a work in its own right, a Tondo on which the artist plays with inks, fluids, gold powder and resin. The round shape invites softness and brilliance to the depths!
