Waiting for Something

Waiting for Something is an ethereal, almost meditative, imaginary planet where space shrinks to a point of suspension: a miniature urban structure floats in the center of a deep sky, and the candelabras, unfurled like a compass, seem to point in directions… or perhaps to promises. The clouds trace a gentle spiral, like a breath in anticipation, and the image evokes that very particular sensation of a still moment, just before movement, just before the event.
