Mohieddin HAJIMIRZAEI

For me, painting is primarily a form of self-therapy. My new series of works draws its inspiration from the primary sources of Iranian painting, revisited in the light of ancient Iranian poems.

Mohieddin HAJIMIRZAEI
My story, my background

With a solid artistic background, I obtained a Master's degree in Painting from the Faculty of Arts in Tehran. I also conducted doctoral research in Art History for 4 years at VUB University. Although I was unable to complete this project, my artistic practice is enriched by 10 collective and solo exhibitions. Through my creations, I seek to convey a message of peace and harmony, both inner and outer. My art invites reflection on the beauty of the present moment and the importance of living in harmony with oneself and with the world around us. These poems, which celebrate the present moment and call for kindness towards oneself and others, form the guiding thread of my artistic exploration. According to an Iranian proverb: The right and beautiful words should be written in gold and placed on the door of your house. I worked on this series with gold leaf.
