Edvard

Edvard is a contemporary interpretation of the iconic primal scream immortalized by Edvard Munch. In this work, the emotional intensity of the original is blended with a vibrant color palette and a figurative abstract mask, influenced by African aesthetics. The face — more a symbol than a person — hovers between recognition and alienation, expressing a raw force that feels both personal and universal. Through form, color, and rhythm, Edvard opens a visual dialogue about identity, expression, and the universal need to be heard.
