Duga is an artist of emotion and free expression. Primitive arts, African art, Oceanic art, tribal art in general, raw art, children's art have strongly marked him. He finds his roots there. He is in perpetual questioning about the human being, for an endless work because he knows that his questions will remain forever unanswered. It is the Man who interests him, his inner life, his sufferings, his happiness, his joys, his sadness, his inconsistencies, his fears, his loneliness, his demons, his social life,... His work is based on the spontaneity and instinct. For a long time he used black as the main color before highlighting it even more by combining it with brighter colors.
