Frozen Swells

A macro capture of ice. When ice melts, its transition to water is a window of infinite compositional opportunities. Spotting this phenomenon on such a tiny scale can be very difficult, but often rewarding. Real size ~4mm.

Taken from the Daily Challenge collection. For 100 days in a row, I challenged myself to take one abstract photograph a day. Frozen Swells was captured on Day 63 of the challenge.
