Hollow Earth

Hollow Earth is the result of a macro experiment with fluids.
After about 3 hours of shooting and a few more hours of sorting and editing, I was left in awe in front of this image which I then claimed as my best photograph taken yet. 
Hollow Earth stimulates my imagination more than any other photo I’ve taken before. It feels incredible to me how a minuscule mix of fluids (real size is only a few millimeters) can contain such a detailed scene and make for such otherworldly visuals.

Taken from the Daily Challenge collection. For 100 days in a row, I challenged myself to take one abstract photograph a day. Hollow Earth was captured on Day 64 of the challenge.
