Nightmare

With Nightmare, I am refining a style of macro photography that I will continue to explore in the months and years to come.
Nightmare is the result of a unique combination of liquids captured at x5 magnification, which means that the entire world represented in this image is actually only a few millimetres wide. 
Nightmare offers a glimpse into an infinite imaginary world that I am carefully constructing, piece by piece, in my home studio. A world whose potential has yet to be fully realised.

Taken from the Daily Challenge collection. For 100 days in a row, I challenged myself to take one abstract photograph a day. Nightmare was captured on Day 80 of the challenge.
