The bird of peace

In this triptych, presented between wooden slats, I used oil inks, stencils and dry pastels to explore the duality of war and peace. The semi-abstract, symbolic forms evoke the transformation from powerlessness to rebirth. Each panel is a contemplation of the fragile human silhouette against the immensity of emotions and colors, from pain to hope, suggesting a journey from shadow to light symbolized by the dove. This work is a wish for peace.
