This series, The Book of Dreams, is an invitation to travel through our dreams, in search of our lost memories, of all those ancient places, memories of humanity that still vibrate deep within us. This poem by Baudelaire often resonates with me: “Nature is a temple where living pillars sometimes let out confused words; Man passes through forests of symbols that observe him with familiar eyes”.
The use of watercolor combined with white gouache enables me to capture fleeting moments, to express inner landscapes with spontaneity.
In this work, the dreamer continues his quest and goes deeper into the forest. I sought to express the alliance between nature and certain civilizations of the past through watercolors and gouache. The soft colors and abstract forms invite contemplation. Symbolically, this painting evokes a forgotten temple, offering a haven of peace and rest for the traveler.
