This is Not Belgium Opens Its House Gallery by Appointment.

house gallery in Ohain

In 2023, This is Not Belgium takes a significant step forward by opening its house gallery by appointment.

Our commitment undergoes a significant transformation. On the one hand, we now exclusively spotlight Belgian visual art. On the other hand, we expand our physical presence, not only through exhibitions but also through appointments at our "house-gallery" located in Ohain.

This evolution does not alter our status as an online art gallery. In addition to enabling artists to showcase and sell their work to a global audience, it provides visitors with 24/7 accessibility. You have the freedom to explore the artworks at your convenience and pace, free from any constraints. It's simply a comfortable experience.

Now, our gallery comes to life in a physical sense. We are opening our doors in the Walloon Brabant, at the entrance to Brussels, by appointment, to welcome you in optimal conditions. This initiative aims to allow you to experience the artworks in person, to feel them in a real environment, thereby creating a deeper emotional connection with art and artists.

Many of you wonder how we select our artists. This selection is entrusted to a committee comprising around ten individuals, including artists, creators, art enthusiasts, and art specialists. They convene regularly to review applications, ensuring a certain quality and coherence while offering diverse and complementary perspectives on our website.

To celebrate this opening, we will be welcoming you for four days, from noon to 6:00 PM, during the Lasne Artists' Trail. This will take place on the weekends of September 31st-October 1st and October 7th-8th 2023.

We sincerely hope to see you there, as numerous talented artists await discovery. Among them: Priscilla de B., Christophe de Fierlant, Duga, Dominique Gringoire, Atelier HD, Olivier Ameye, BrieucC, Roxanne Malu, Geneviève Lagasse, Jenny Verplanke, and many others. Weather permitting, we will also exhibit photographs and sculptures in our garden.

In conclusion, I would like to express my deep gratitude to the artists who place their trust in This is Not Belgium, who encourage and support me.

Their commitment is my driving force. I would like to extend special thanks to Jehanne Hupin, whose beautiful photos of the gallery and myself contribute to promoting this new chapter.

THANK YOU. YOUR SUPPORT IS PRICELESS.
