To make the glass pieces I have combined 2 different techniques : the blue lines that appear in the sculpture have been drawn one by one on the torch beforehand (so called flamework). The finished piece has been cast with hot glass in a sand mould (so called sand casting)
Approximate dimensions are 75cm wide by 120cm high. Each glass piece is between 2 and 3cm thick
Care and use
This sculpture can stay outside in all weather conditions, nevertheless be cautious not to spray cold water on it when it has been in the sun, in order to avoid thermal schock.
It can be cleaned with water and dishwashing liquid
