Full moon nights on the banks of the Yamuna River (2)

In this series, “Myths, Legends and Stories”, I drew my inspiration from stories and legends, mythology and its gods, the history of ancient civilizations, trying to capture on canvas, in order to make them more real, the memories, the impressions that awaken in us, the images that rise up when we evoke or hear these stories.

In this work, I sought to capture the tumultuous, mystical essence of full-moon nights. Using oil and oil pastel, I created a rich texture that reflects the fluid movement of water and the quivering of leaves. The washed colors and semi-abstract forms evoke a sensation both soothing and energetic, inviting the viewer to contemplate the elusive beauty of autumn full-moon nights.
